Our Management Team

Mike Solitro is committed to closing the digital divide in the Northeast. His extensive experience in telecommunications and energy infrastructure allows him to work with customers and community leaders to develop cost-effective, real-world broadband solutions. As Sertex CEO, Mike directs overall business strategy, new business development, and sales. His leadership and vision guide Sertex to keep pace with the rapidly changing telecommunications landscape and advances in fiber optic technology.

Shawn Harmon brings 30+ years of experience in telecommunications and energy infrastructure to his position at Sertex. As Vice President, Shawn leads our operations team, overseeing annual business goals, operating budgets, estimating, project management, staff development, and customer relations. He also plays an integral role in the Sertex safety program. Shawn holds an A.S. in electronics engineering from the New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, R.I.

Russ Freeman has worked in fiber optics since 1999 and understands all aspects of fiber optic deployment, from how cable is fabricated to how infrastructure is installed and lit. In his current position, Russ oversees network installations and manages critical splice and test operations. In his 20+ years with Sertex, Russ has completed dozens of fiber deployments throughout the Northeast. He also has extensive experience in outside and inside plant and security installations.
