Last Mile Connections

100% Fiber Networks

Connectivity is an essential utility like electricity and water. Municipal networks and Fiber-to-the-X (FTTX) deliver last-mile connectivity to communities, residents, and businesses. We have decades of experience building Last Mile networks with municipal and public utility partners to deliver reliable and affordable broadband connectivity.

Sertex is constructing 400 miles of fiber optic cable on Phase I of a GPON passive optical FTTH network serving residents and businesses in 24 towns in southern Vermont. The Deerfield Valley Communication Union District, operating as DVFiber, awarded the contract in May 2023 to expand affordable 100mbps symmetrical internet service and voice over internet protocol (VoIP) services to reach nearly 5,000 locations, of which 4,290 were previously underserved or unserved.
